Come RACE with Team MSC
Saturday, September 16th, 2017 in Wheaton, Illinois!
Team MSC will be partnering with DuPage PADS for this event as we run in their chip-timed 10k and 5k races. For the walkers out there, they offer a 5k walk, so families come on out and race together! They also provide a super fun kid play area with bounce houses, face painting and more! Our goal is to come together with family and friends to raise support for all MSC’s yearly projects.
Our Team MSC goal is to raise $100,000 to support our local outreach food and clothing bank, as well as, show our support once again for our school partner Harvest Christian Academy. Team MSC has worked with HCA for several years now, including sponsoring the yearly Torch Award Scholarship and completing the Mitchell Swaback Athletic Center (a.k.a. The Mitch). All of Team MSC’s outreach work continues to make an impact in the lives of many as we show the love of Jesus to all we meet.
This race will take the place of our annual Chicago Half Marathon race.

About Team MSC
Team MSC has been racing for several years in the Chicagoland area. Mitchell Swaback Charities, Inc. was born in 2004 in memory of a son, brother, friend, Mitch Swaback. Mitch lived his life to the fullest for 23 years until the Lord called him home through a sudden drowning accident. Mitch was one of the most generous ‘guys’ to anyone he met, whether it meant volunteering at soup kitchens or simply helping a friend rebuild a basement. MSC Charities promises to serve others as Mitch once did! Today, MSC continues to reach the hurting, hidden and hungry by serving the underserved all while showing the love of Jesus. Our largest and ongoing project is fully funding and operating the Harvest Compassion Center, a local food and clothing bank where over 20,000 families have been served.
